Tashi Columbro.

Tashi Columbro’s multidisciplinary practice infuses her Greek-Australian lived experience with an intuitive approach to both painting and ceramics which champions spontaneity in the making process. Using images from her family’s photographic archive, and stories held dear by her yiayia as departure points, Columbro creates works exploring the power of generational storytelling and matrescence. 
Columbro is a graduate of the Sydney College of the Arts, and presented her debut solo exhibition Soft Landings at Gallery East in 2024. That same year she was selected as a finalist in the Emerging Artist Prize, Omnia Art Prize, and Fifty Squared Art Prize.
